A Day at the Museum

We went to the Museum of Science today in Denver, on quite possibly the prettiest day ever in recorded history. We arrived and immediately picnicked near the rose garden overlooking a lake with paddleboats. After some snackage - more of those cookies! - we wandered through the museum and really enjoyed several hours there. Liz Ann diligently does her movement exercises every 15 minutes - to move her body, shift her weight, etc. She looked so wild today - sure she's in a wheelchair and has a hospital bracelet and a body cast. But it's a cheetah body cast over a cute little camisole with some groovy long shorts that let her leg cast peek out. You'll see in the pictures..she was looking great!

Glenn had an opportunity to use one of the docs tickets to a Bronco's game tomorrow, so Liz Ann and I are going to load some photos, get her up and running on Facebook and just help arrange her room with all these new goodies. Her roommate moved to another wing - which is always great.

Literally everyone I've met at Craig is extraordinary. Mostly our girlfriend...but she's in a good place. No, a great place.

I'll keep posting..Joanne

I learned of Liz Ann’s tragic plight through my daughter who is a neighbor and friend of Liz Ann’s sister Christine in Hollister, California. I have read and the blogs from the beginning and want you to know kind thoughts and sincere prayers are emanating from Rhode Island.

I love seeing your picture on the river and thinking of "your always smiling face" when we floated this summer. Know that "all things are possible" with God and we've sent angels to aid in your recovery.

Hi Liz Ann,
Steve and I have been reading all comments on the web site and just want you to know we think of you often and are so proud of your progress.
Thinking back on the dinner party we had at your mom's house on the river with your sisters, neice, and nephews and what a great night we had dancing, laughing, drinking, singing, reminds me of the spirit you have inside. So happy to see you have this with you still. We will try to stay in touch; have pictures of the dinner party to send. Love and kisses to you as well as John and your mom.
Dawn and Steve too.
